SR-245

PYROGUARD SR-245 is a brominated aromatic triazine compound, it is for plastic has good thermal stability, UV stability and flame retardancy. It is a melt type flame retardant: it does not corrupt the original plastic material, also balance the performance of fireproof material.

Its main characteristics are the following:

SR-245 has good thermal and UV stability. Just a little dose can achieve UL-94 V-2, or standard, V-0's.

UV stability can even enhance dioxide or UV stabilizers (benzophenones, benzotriazoles, amino or inhibit) the binding force.

SR-245 at a molding temperature is melted and then combined with plastic keeping polymer the original characteristics and lead to reduced outflow.

SR-245 has a strong thermal stability and does not damage the quality of the plastic, while making color and shape easier.

In addition, it can also reduce mold residue.

Molding temperature range can be adjusted by using thermal stabilizer (epoxy, or an organic tin stabilizer, hydrotalcite, penolic type antioxidant, a chelating agent, etc.)
