BAEROPAN R 638 R/2 is a highly efficient Ca/Zn stabilizer/lubricant one-pack for the extrusion of pipes from rigid PVC. All suspension and mass PVC types with K-values of 65-68 are suitable for this application. Due to its well adjusted balance of external and internal lubrication and its good thermostability, BAEROPAN R 638 R/2 can be used under a wide range of processing conditions. Recommended dosage: Approx. 2.5 phr.
BAEROPAN R 638 R/2 requires hot blending in a high-speed mixer, mixing temperatures above 120°C are recommended for a homogeneous dispersion.
